No. Children of both churched and non-churched families attend our school. However, Calvary Kids Preschool is a Biblically based program. If you prefer your child is not involved in Biblical teachings, then our program will not be a good fit for your family.

Calvary Kids Preschool enrolls children ages 3 years through 5 years. It is strongly recommended that children begin at 3 years of age in order to receive the most out of his/her Montessori experience.

Children are able to learn from peers, develop leadership skills and have individualized instruction. We see older children modeling for younger children, which demonstrates a deep understanding of concepts learned. We also see respect and patience develop among our children as they interact with others who differ in age and ability.

In order to receive the most out of the Montessori experience, it is important to plan on enrolling for a minimum of 2 consecutive years. This allows each child the opportunity to learn at his/her own pace without pressure to move on before achieving mastery of skills. The 2 or 3 year cycle also provides a stable community with the consistency of both peers and teachers creating a family-like environment. By the third year, students often accomplish or exceed the expectations of a traditional kindergarten, gaining confidence, concentration, leadership skills and an understanding of foundational academic skills.

While we may accept a child for one year if space is available, priority is given to families who intend on enrolling their child for a minimum of 2 consecutive years.

Calvary Kids is an excellent beginning for your child's homeschool education. With our carefully curated and implemented lessons your child will develop a solid foundation including (but not limited to): fine & gross motor development, social skills with peers and adults, respect of boundaries, curiosity, sensory exploration, numeration, music, science, language (science of reading) and most of all a love of learning.

Yes. In fact, our alum families tell us their children excel and become the leaders of their new classrooms. With the independence and self-motivation skills developed over the course of their attendance in our program, the biggest change for our graduates is to adapt to a new environment.

Current families begin early registration starting November 1st. Siblings of current students and alums begin registration on December 1st. Open enrollment begins January 1st. Calvary Kids has a rolling admissions policy during the school year, depending on space availability.
